As a lifelong resident of San Diego County and a second-generation mortgage advisor, I’m passionate about helping clients borrow smart and repay smart—using mortgage and home equity strategies that strengthen their overall financial position. Throughout my 24-year career and my father’s career, I have seen how making a poor decision with your mortgage can have lasting effects.  My mission is to align home financing decisions with a client’s long-term wealth and cash flow objectives while delivering outstanding customer service.

As both a Certified Liability Advisor (CLA) and a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP), I specialize in advanced home equity and liability management strategies—helping clients understand how their mortgage can be an asset when structured wisely. My approach is built on the Borrow Smart framework, which focuses on optimizing cash flow, protecting liquidity, and growing net worth over time.

I’ve developed a proven three-step process—the Ready To Move Pre-Approval, the Ease of Mind Lending Experience, and the More Than a Mortgage Program—to ensure every client receives not just the right loan today, but the right strategy for tomorrow.  I am a graduate of Christian High School in East County and earned my B.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego (Revelle College). I grew up playing competitive soccer, played for UCSD, and still enjoy the game today. My wife, Naomi, and I got married in 2002 and have two wonderful children. We attend Maranatha Chapel, and I enjoy watching soccer, playing sports, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with my family.
