I was raised in Petoskey, Michigan, and relocated to Naples, Florida in late 1984. I began my career in Mortgage Brokering in 1997. Frustrated with how other companies were run and feeling that clients’ needs were not always the priority, I opened my own Mortgage Brokerage business in 1999. Over the next 7 years, I, along with my business partner, grew the business to 5 offices in Naples, Fort Myers, and Germany. I sold my share in 2006 to my business partners at the time but continued to work for Benchmark until 2009. I took a few years thereafter to explore another industry, insurance, but I never really felt comfortable in that arena. In 2014, I decided to do what I do best: originating mortgages and helping people fulfill the dream of homeownership. Eventually, in January of 2025, I joined RWM Home Loans.
