Hi, I’m Marc

Born in the deep south originating from Pascagoula, MS. I was raised in a southern family and being a second-generation American taught me to respect all the freedoms provided by our Nation. In 2004, I embarked on a lifelong passion by joining the Marine Corps, a decision solidified by the events of September 11th, 2001. From Parris Island boot camp in 2005, to deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Thailand, and Korea as a Marine Special Operations Element leader, I gained a profound understanding of trust and the significance of making our time count.

Despite missing home during deployments, my relentless pursuit of knowledge persisted. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and a master’s from the Joint Special Operations Master of Arts program. My graduate honors thesis delved into the intellectual history of influential Chinese leaders, emphasizing the interpretation of Carl von Clausewitz’s writings within Chinese Grand Strategy.
